Our Story

Rob and Debi officially met in August 2004 at their stake center where they were learning to be ushers for the upcoming open house preceding the stake center's dedication. They spoke of pizza (no kidding!), and as Rob walked away Debi was sad, because she knew she would never be able to recognize him again and she really wanted to get to know him better. Fortunately, they both had very astute roommates who worked independantly to get them together...along with a few other very wise individuals. Eventually, Rob asked Debi on their first date in December, but it wasn't until they were officially dating a month later that he reminded her of the pizza conversation. She was very excited to find out that that wonderful man whom she had wanted so badly to get to know was now holding her hand every day.

We were engaged shortly (very shortly) thereafter, married on June 18, 2005, and have been living blissfully ever since. Our little boy joined our family in January 2007, and we are looking forward to meeting the rest of the members of our new family as they come.

This is possibly the shortest version of our story you will ever hear! A whole lot was left out, but it is a really good story. Eventually we will write the full version and you will be able to download it here and read it and laugh at it's irony as we do. Trust me, it would make a really good Jack Weyland novel.
